Hatting Hills
An autism centre, day care centre, viewing tower, mountain bike track, running routes and winter sports activities, as well as a noise barrier to screen the area and the town of Hatting from the noise of the E45, are among plans for a new, large recreation area in Hatting.
Green, recreational area under development in Horsens
The project includes the transformation of 85 hectares of current agricultural land into a modern recreational landscape with a wide range of possibilities for living, nature experiences as well as unfolding opportunities. Here, the young family with children can spend the weekend walking up the hills and using the many possibilities of the countryside, the active elderly married couple can get used to their bodies, come up and get a view of Horsens, the fjord and the Jutland countryside. Here the runners, mountain bikers and active residents from Hatting, Horsens and the surrounding area should be able to move and cultivate their active lifestyle.
The new landscape with hills and valleys will at once ensure valuable shielding between intense infrastructure and existing nature and urban areas, as well as the project's new residential and welfare oases, as well as a climate pool to capture the area's surface water with different water depths and varying brinkers will support and develop the area's flora and biodiversity with a more wild nature.
The Hatting Hills area is being developed to bring nature and urban life closer together. The landscape and area are activated to create shared outdoor spaces, activities and new nature experiences for citizens and visitors of all ages. The project is being developed to simultaneously ensure an increase in biodiversity.
